About Champagne School
At Champagne School, we want to help you learn about Champagne in a simple way. Through our online classes and articles we will explain everything you need to know about Champagne. We do not make things overly complicated, because at the end of the day its all about enjoying the wine!
Our articles are all written by wine professionals that love to share their passion with others. Our aim is to make the learning process as easy and fun as possible. We have a wide range of content available for beginners and also aficionados who are interested in going more in depth.
If you’re interested to go even deeper, we offer guided tastings with professional sommeliers who have studied or spent time in Champagne.
For the ultimate Champagne experience, we also offer Champagne and Wine Pairing Classes where you can learn how to make the perfect food pairings with different styles of Champagnes.
We are originally based in Las Vegas, but we offer classes online as well occasionally in person in San Francisco, New York, London, and Paris.
We offer introductory and advanced courses that cover the following topics:
- How to taste Champagne
- Grapes used in Champagne
- How Champagne is made (the Méthode Champenoise)
- Champagne villages, vineyards, and producers
- Major Champagne houses and brands to know
- History of Champagne
- Introduction to Grower Champagne
And much more! You can check out our most popular topics and Champagne course content here.
Occasionally we offer in-person Champagne tours to visit vineyards and winemakers in Champagne. If you are interested in this or if you have further questions we would love to hear from you. You can contact us here.
